WOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO
Not that I don't love playing with epoxy, but I am so glad to have finished with it for a while.
I have decided to change the cabin top and go with a slide in coach roof so once the hull is painted on the bottom/ flipped/on its trailer, I will have to use a bit more epoxy to alter the cabin top.
I haven't seen any other images showing the use of peel ply (I have seen it written about) so as you can see below it is just linen cloth which soaks up any extra epoxy and gives a smooth finish--easier to fair once the epoxy has cured and it is removed.
I will be using 2pac high build primer/filler, which I have started using on the rudder, to fair the hul before spraying on the top coat--still cann't make up my mind on the final colour. I am now thinking its a choice between white and light blue now and it's 50/50 which one depending on my mood. But we should all know by this time next week.
