Rudder F^%K Up

Sleeve and rudder don't want to play together

I really don't have any answers just a lot of guesses. The blade may have warped slightly but I couldn't find it with a straight edge. The sleeve would got a 1/3 of the way down from the top and wedge tight. Try it from the bottom and same deal---high spot in the middle right; nah. Straight edge again said the rudder was true. I shaved off enough material to make the sleeve/cassette work but now of course the profile has been screwed too much for my liking. I ended up having to take a couple of mm of each side-very strange. I am biting the bullet and starting again, the rudder I've just finished/ stuffed will be turned into a fixed mount spare.

The next/new rudder is going to be foam/carbon out of a mold so there are no more problems. Big dollars though so it will be well after christmas before it's done and that will be very close to our next race with TTB 22 January. Oh, and we are moving house TOMORROW !!!!!
