hour spent break down

Some trivial information on my build

Number of hours taken & approximate cost (Aus $)

building the hull 85
fairing & glassing 47
painting 7
rudder box/rudder 8 (already had the blade)
fitting out- deck h/ware 22
bulb/ keel 24
Mast blank fittings 8
trailer 20
Standing rigging mates
Custom sails
TOTAL 201 hours
Cost $ 8800
+ 3.3hp outboard 900

This is how much it has/going to cost me--dooooooo noooootttttt expect to do this yourself--I am lucky to have mates in the right industry---sails do not normally cost so little, trailers are usually expensive, masts cost more if you don't have a mate with one lying around that can be instantly used with no mods.

This maybe interesting or depressing depending on your point of view. I think it's very quick when compared to the time taken (I would imagine) to a lot of the alternatives and a lot cheaper than the alternatives.

For people thinking of building or with no friends in the industry i would expect to pay double what it has taken me. I don't mean to be rude or arrogant, just honest.
