Absolute beginners--here you go.

Another post for the absolute beginners such as me.
I think this is the way to go--full size plans. No lofting, no guessing, just start marking out then cutting. Yes they are more expensive but I reckon it is worth it for the beginner like me (there's got to be more than one beginner out there or maybe someone who's looking to build or already has plans but has placed them in the too hard basket?? I personally know of one in my city).

Now here's a good tip for the beginner/ deep thinker, and a good laugh for the experienced builders----------

The plans, A4 or full size, you get instructions right? Well I'm looking through the plans and reading the instructions and I can not find the measurements for the frame spacings. Yes I can already hear the experienced builders laughing.

So, for the beginner-----find the plan drawing of the boat profile (that's the one that shows the full side length of the boat--right got it?).

See those numbers? F18, F124 etc? Well here's the kicker------------they are the frame numbers and also the frame distances from the bow. Good you got that? it took me about half an hour or more to figure that one out.

Yeah yeah, you experienced guys can stop laughing now.
